If you want to lose fat and gain muscle, then you need the right fat loss workout. Over the years we have met many men and women, of all shapes and sizes, at all levels of fitness each struggling to find the right program that will help with their fitness and fat loss goals. So, why do run the type of program that we do? Simply, becasue over the last 12 years as a trainer experimenting with different programs on clients as well as myself, these workouts have proven to show the greatest results. By cycling through a combination of Metabolic Resistance Training, Heavy Resistance Training, Explosive Training and Interval Training we set the body up to be a calorie burning furnace. You burn a lot of calories during the 45 minute workout but optimally we are trying to make you burn more calories AFTER your workout (that time between your workouts is when it all really happens) which maximizes overall fat loss.

I was one of the first two charter members of the DAC bootcamp three years ago, and I've recruited five or six others to join. Why? Well, every workout is different! Anyone who tries to exercise regularly usually falls into a "set" routine, and not only can it become boring, your muscles all know what is coming, and you hit a plateau. Not so with bootcamp; we never know what to expect. And having a group dynamic creates a great camaraderie that helps each of us push for that last exercise rep (the 'if HE can do it, so can I mentality'), and it also makes the hour go by really fast. It's been a blast. Keep up the great work.

I started Boot Camp 10 months ago at the age of 62 to lose some weight and tone muscles. I keep coming because I am succeeding at those first two goals. Now I have added other goals-lower body fat, increase endurance, get real cardio workouts and keep up with the youngsters in the group. The results speak for themselves. After two four week sessions, we lost nearly 80 pounds combines, while at the same time increasing strength and stamina to a remarkable degree. We had both tried many approaches to getting in better shape in the past, but none had the life changing results of Jen's boot camp training. Working in a group provides great motivation and the straight forward, non-glamorous, never the same twic hard work keeps you engaged and really pays off. At first, the idea of attempting a "boot camp" sounded like a recipe for disaster, but Jen explained to me that it was a friendly atmosphere where one could do as much or as little as they could without ridicule. After one session, I believed her. At boot camp, Jen fostered a very friendly and supportive environment. We learned to push ourselves and each other, with Jen assisting us with our form and
